Our story
We are aviation people. We came up inside the operation, on the ramp, at the gate, in the ops room, and we never really left. Skylight was built by a team that loves this industry and knows it from the ground up, with an average of more than 25 years of frontline experience between us. That is where our work begins.
Steven Dickson founded the company in 2015 on a different idea: that you cannot fix airline operations from the outside. Real change comes from people who have lived the operation, who know what it takes to get a wave away on time and to bring a disrupted day back on its feet. So we built a team of practitioners, with an average of more than 25 years of frontline aviation experience between them, and we went to work from the inside.
Ten years on
A decade later, that conviction has become a craft. We have worked alongside some of the most demanding operators in the industry, including Qantas, Saudia and Cebu Pacific, and we are proud of every one of those relationships.
Today the company carries a name that reflects where it is heading. The passion that started it all is still here, and it points forward, toward what becomes possible when insight meets potential.

The Power of possibility
We believe what is possible lives at the intersection of two things: a client's potential and our insight. One cannot exist without the other. Every airline already holds the capacity to grow, to optimise, to become more. Our job is to understand it deeply, uncover what is not immediately obvious, and help unlock it.
That belief shapes how we work. We listen before we propose. We get under the bonnet and under the skin of the operation, because it is much better to understand before trying to make yourself understood. Our clients are partners, not accounts, and the trust we build alongside them is what makes the work last.
